Turkey, beef and chicken bacon
Turkey bacon is made from processed turkey thigh or breast, formed and smoked to look like bacon rashers. It contains no pork, so the halal question is the turkey and any added flavourings.
Most supermarket turkey bacon is not halal-certified. Beef bacon and halal-certified turkey bacon are sold by halal brands.
