Burgers and hot dogs
Five Guys says its burgers use "Halal certified British beef" and that the hot dogs in its halal stores are made with halal certified beef. In the rest of its stores in England, Scotland and Wales, it says it does not serve halal beef.
Bacon and cross-contamination
In stores that serve halal beef and bacon, Five Guys says bacon is cooked on a separate grill and handled with separate utensils to minimise cross-contamination "where possible". Some Muslims are comfortable with this; others only eat at the fully certified stores. If shared kitchens matter to you, choose a fully certified store.
Fries
