What we found about Jacob’s and halal

Retailer listings from Waitrose, Sainsbury's, Ocado and Morrisons say Jacob's cream crackers are suitable for vegetarians, and Waitrose and Sainsbury's list them as kosher (KLBD). A 2017 specification sheet for the snack pack lists them as not suitable for vegans because milk, egg and sesame may be present, with ingredients of wheat flour, palm oil, salt, sodium bicarbonate and yeast.

Jacob's is made by pladis. We found no halal certificate. The cream cracker recipe has no meat ingredient, but check flavoured and cheese crackers, which have more ingredients.
