Halal and non-halal branches

Nando's offers halal chicken in a selection of UK restaurants. In non-halal branches the chicken is not halal. Nando's does not serve pork, but that alone does not make the chicken halal.

Certifiers differ on whether stunned chicken is acceptable. If you only eat unstunned meat, ask which standard the branch follows — see stunned meat.
