Halal KFC branches

KFC runs a halal programme in selected UK restaurants, usually in areas with large Muslim communities. Those branches use halal-certified chicken and display their certificate.

Other branches

In the rest of KFC's UK restaurants the chicken is not halal. Some certification standards also accept stunned chicken while others do not — see is stunned meat halal?

How to check a branch

Halal status can differ from one branch to the next and can change. Check the brand's own restaurant finder or allergen and halal page, look for the certificate on display, and ask staff which items are halal and how they are cooked.
